ComusThumbz is officially released. This is the CMS we’ve been building toward since the project started — a self-hosted, PHP-based platform for adult video tubes, webcam aggregators, and creator monetization sites.
The Short Version
ComusThumbz runs the entire pipeline. Ingest video through the admin FTP flow or user uploads, and FFmpeg handles conversion to HLS adaptive streaming with MP4 fallback, generates thumbnails, poster images, preview clips, and contact sheets. Distributed conversion means you can spread processing across multiple servers. Files ship to BunnyCDN, Wasabi S3, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces, Cloudflare R2, FTP/SFTP, or local storage — your choice, with file sharding and redundancy built in.
What’s Inside
- Content management. Videos, photo galleries, performer/model database, webcam performers. Bulk operations, auto-thumbnails, metadata extraction.
- Creator monetization (Phase 11). Tipping, monthly subscriptions, pay-per-view, creator wall posts with text/image/video/audio/mixed media, earnings dashboards with daily analytics, token economy with configurable packages.
- Live streaming. LiveKit WebRTC with sub-second latency, stream recording, live chat moderation, per-minute billing for private sessions.
- Webcam aggregation. Unified catalogs pulling from Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, CamSoda, LiveJasmin, CAM4, and others.
- Payment processing. CCBill, Epoch, Segpay, Verotel, PayPal, Paxum, cryptocurrency. Atomic transactions throughout.
- REST API. 150+ endpoints, JWT authentication, webhook support, interactive API tester, full documentation.
- Admin panel. Content moderation queues, user administration, analytics dashboards, template builder, style manager, layout manager, SEO manager, sitemap generator, log viewer, cron scheduler.
Compliance and Security, Not Bolted On
GDPR data export and deletion, 18 U.S.C. 2257 compliance tooling, DMCA takedown workflow, age verification, non-consensual content reporting. Two-factor authentication (TOTP), CSRF protection across all forms, PDO prepared statements everywhere, audit logging, IP-based access control, device fingerprinting, and user suspension tools. This was baked in from Phase 5, not retrofitted.
