Admin Header
What This Page Does
The header is the top section that appears on every page of your admin panel. It contains your main navigation menus, license status, notifications, language settings, and announcements. This is how you move between all the different sections of your admin panel.

How to Get Here
The header appears automatically at the top of every admin panel page. You do not need to navigate to it separately.
Understanding the Header
When you look at the top of any admin page, you will see several areas that help you navigate and manage your site.
Navigation Bar
The navigation bar is your main way to get around the admin panel. It contains menu categories that group related pages together. Hover over (or click) any category to see a dropdown list of pages you can visit.

License Status Bar
Below the navigation, you will see a status bar showing your license information. This tells you what type of license you have and whether it is active.
Credits Balance
Next to your license status, you will see your current credits balance. Credits are used for certain features in ComusThumbz.
- Your balance updates automatically every 30 seconds.
- If your balance is low, you will see a warning style.
- Click the Buy Credits button to purchase more credits. This takes you to the ComusThumbz license portal with your account pre-filled.
Announcement Ticker
A scrolling bar may appear showing announcements from ComusThumbz. These can include:
- Important updates about the software
- Maintenance notices
- New feature announcements
- Special offers
You can hover over the ticker to pause it and read a message. Click on an announcement to learn more, or dismiss it if you have already read it.
Notification Bell
A bell icon in the top bar shows your unread notifications. A number badge tells you how many unread notifications you have.
- Click the bell icon to see your latest notifications.
- Notifications are sorted by importance -- urgent ones appear first.
- Click View All to go to the full notifications page.
When you have no new notifications, you will see an "All caught up!" message.

Language Selector
You can change the language of your admin panel at any time.
- Look for the language button in the top bar (it shows a flag and a two-letter code like "EN").
- Click it to open the language list.
- Select your preferred language.
- The page refreshes automatically in the new language.
Supported languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Vietnamese, Telugu, Marathi, Hausa, Swahili, and Urdu.
User Profile Menu
In the top right corner, you will see your avatar (a circle with your initial) and your name.
- Click on your name or avatar to open the profile dropdown.
- From here you can:
- Go to Profile Settings to update your admin account
- View License Info to see your license details on the ComusThumbz portal
- Click Logout to sign out of the admin panel
Common Tasks
How to Switch Between Classic and Modern Navigation
Your admin panel offers two navigation styles:
- Classic -- A traditional image-based header with dropdown menus. Good if you prefer a familiar look.
- Modern -- A sleek, text-based navigation bar with dropdown menus. Provides a cleaner layout with additional features like the language selector and notification bell.
To switch:
- Find the Classic / Modern toggle switch. In Classic mode, it appears in the license status bar. In Modern mode, it is near the navigation area.
- Click the toggle to switch.
- The change takes effect immediately -- no need to reload the page.
How to Change Your Admin Panel Language
- Click the language button in the top bar (shows a flag icon and language code).
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown list.
- The page reloads in the new language.
How to Check Your License Status
- Look at the license status bar below the navigation.
- If it shows green text with your license type, everything is working.
- If it shows a red error message, your license may need attention.
How to Buy More Credits
- Look for the Buy Credits button next to your credits balance.
- Click it to go to the ComusThumbz credits purchase page.
- Your account details are pre-filled for convenience.
- Complete your purchase and your balance will update automatically.
How to Read Announcements
- Watch the scrolling announcement bar below the navigation.
- Hover over the bar to pause scrolling and read a message.
- Click an announcement to view more details or take action.
- Click the dismiss button on an announcement to hide it.
How to Check Notifications
- Click the bell icon in the top bar.
- Review your latest notifications in the dropdown.
- Click on any notification to go to the related page.
- Click View All to see your complete notification history.
Tips for New Users
- Start with Modern navigation -- It gives you access to the language selector, notification bell, and a cleaner layout all in one place.
- Check announcements regularly -- They can alert you to important updates, new features, or maintenance windows.
- Bookmark the Dashboard -- The center of the navigation bar (or the logo) usually takes you back to the main dashboard page.
- Use the menu highlighting -- The currently active menu is highlighted, so you always know which section you are in.
- Your settings are saved -- Navigation style and language preferences are remembered, so you only need to set them once.
Troubleshooting
Menu dropdowns are not appearing
What you see: You hover over or click a menu category, but no dropdown list appears.
How to fix it:
- Try refreshing the page by pressing F5 or clicking the refresh button in your browser.
- Clear your browser cache (usually Ctrl + Shift + Delete) and try again.
- Try a different browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.
- If the problem continues, contact your site administrator or ComusThumbz support.
License status shows an error
What you see: The license bar shows a red message such as "No Valid License Key Found" or "License Error."
How to fix it:
- Go to Admin Panel > Settings and make sure your license key is entered correctly.
- Check that your domain name matches what is registered with your license.
- Try refreshing the page -- sometimes temporary network issues can cause a verification failure.
- If the error persists, visit the ComusThumbz license portal to verify your account is active.
Navigation style is not switching
What you see: You click the Classic/Modern toggle but nothing changes.
How to fix it:
- Refresh the page and try the toggle again.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies for the admin panel.
- Try in a private/incognito browser window.
- If none of the above works, contact support.
Language is not changing
What you see: You select a different language but the page stays in the same language.
How to fix it:
- Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser (the language setting is saved as a cookie).
- Try refreshing the page after selecting the language.
- Clear your browser cookies for the admin panel and try again.
- If the issue continues, try selecting the language in a private/incognito window.
Announcements are not showing
What you see: The announcement ticker area is empty or shows a loading message that never finishes.
How to fix it:
- Check your internet connection -- announcements are loaded from the ComusThumbz server.
- Make sure your license is verified (announcements require an active license).
- Refresh the page and wait a few seconds for announcements to load.
- If no announcements appear, there may simply be no current announcements to display.
Credits balance is not showing
What you see: The credits area is blank or shows an error.
How to fix it:
- Make sure your license is active and verified (credits display requires a valid license).
- Refresh the page -- the balance updates automatically every 30 seconds.
- Visit the ComusThumbz license portal to confirm your account has credits.
- If the problem continues, contact support.
