Batch Model Image Selector

What This Page Does

This page helps you find and assign profile images to multiple models at once. Instead of searching for images one model at a time, you can process a whole batch -- the system automatically searches several image sources, shows you what it finds, and lets you pick the best image for each model with a single click.

How to Get Here

Navigate to Admin Panel > Database > Models, then click the Batch Image Selector button in the toolbar.

Understanding the Page

When you first open this page, you see the batch size selection screen. This is where you choose how many models to work on in one session.

Models Needing Images

At the top of the page, a yellow box tells you how many models on your site still need a profile image. If all your models already have images, a green box appears instead and the batch options are hidden.

Batch Size Cards

You pick how many models to process by clicking one of four cards:

Option What It Means
5 Models A quick batch -- takes about 35 seconds
10 Models A small batch -- takes about 70 seconds
25 Models A medium batch -- takes about 3 minutes
50 Models A large batch -- takes about 6 minutes

If you have fewer models needing images than a batch size, that card is grayed out and cannot be selected.

Navigation Buttons

  • Back to Models -- Returns you to the main Models management page.
  • Single Model Selector -- Opens a different tool that lets you find images for one model at a time with more control.

Common Tasks

How to Find and Assign Images for a Batch of Models

This is the main workflow you will use on this page.

  1. Click the batch size card that matches how many models you want to work on (for example, 10 Models).
  2. Click the Start Scraping button. The system begins searching for images across multiple sources.
  3. Watch the progress bar fill up as each model is processed. You will also see live status messages appearing in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. When a model card turns blue, images have been found for that model. Hover your mouse over the card to see a preview grid of the images.
  5. Click any image in the preview to open the image cropper in a new window.
  6. In the cropper window, adjust the crop area to frame the image the way you want it, then click Save.
  7. The model card turns green and displays the saved image. That image is now live on your site.
  8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each model in the batch.

Tip: You do not need to wait for the entire batch to finish before you start picking images. You can select and crop images for completed models while the rest of the batch is still being processed.

How to Pause and Resume Processing

If you need to step away or want to slow things down:

  1. Click the Pause button. The current model finishes processing, then the batch stops.
  2. When you are ready to continue, click the Resume button. Processing picks up right where it left off.

Note: Your progress is saved when you pause. You will not lose any work.

How to Stop Processing Early

If you want to end the batch before all models are done:

  1. Click the Stop button.
  2. A summary appears showing how many models were processed, how many had images found, and how many had errors.
  3. Click Process More Models to start a new batch, or Return to Models to go back to the Models page.

How to Crop and Save a Model Image

  1. Hover over a model card that has a blue border (this means images were found).
  2. A preview popup appears showing all the images that were found.
  3. Click the image you like best. A cropper window opens.
  4. Drag and resize the crop box to frame the image.
  5. Click Save in the cropper window.
  6. The cropper window closes, and the model card updates with a green background and shows the saved image.

Warning: Saved images appear on your public site immediately. There is no review or approval step, so make sure you are happy with the image before saving.

How to View a Model After Saving Their Image

Once a model card turns green and shows the saved image, click the image on the card. This opens the model's detail page in a new tab so you can see how the image looks.

Understanding the Processing Screen

After you select a batch size, the page changes to the processing interface. Here is what you will see:

Progress Bar

A bar at the top shows how far along the batch is. It displays the percentage and a count like "5 / 10 models processed."

Statistics Boxes

Five boxes give you a quick overview of the current batch:

Box What It Shows
Scraped How many models have been searched so far
Processing Whether a model is currently being searched (shows 0 or 1)
With Images How many models had at least one image found
Errors How many models could not be searched (usually due to network issues)
Avg Time The average number of seconds each model takes to search

Model Cards

Each model in the batch gets its own card. The card color tells you its status at a glance:

Card Color What It Means
Gray border Waiting to be processed
Yellow border Currently being searched
Blue border Images found -- hover to see them
Green border Image saved successfully
Red border Search failed for this model

Status Messages

Small notification messages pop up in the top-right corner of the screen as things happen. These tell you when images are found, when errors occur, and when the batch is complete. Old messages disappear automatically.

This page does not have filters or search. It automatically selects models that do not have profile images yet. If you want to work with a specific model, use the Single Model Selector instead.

Tips for New Users

Tip:
  • Start with a small batch. Try 5 or 10 models first to get comfortable with the process before running larger batches.
  • Pick quality images. Take a moment to choose a clear, well-framed image for each model. Profile images are one of the first things visitors notice on your site.
  • Work while it runs. You can start selecting images for finished models while the batch is still processing the rest. This saves a lot of time.
  • Use the single selector for tricky models. If the batch search does not find good images for a particular model, try the Single Model Selector page, which gives you more control and options.

Troubleshooting

No images found for a model

What you see: A model card shows a red border or says "No images found."

How to fix it:

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Database > Models and check that the model's name is spelled correctly.
  2. Try using the Single Model Selector for that model, which gives you more search options.
  3. Some models may simply have limited images available online. You can manually upload an image through the model's detail page instead.

Scraping is taking a long time

What you see: The progress bar moves very slowly, or models take much longer than expected.

How to fix it:

  1. Try processing smaller batches (5 or 10 models at a time).
  2. Check your internet connection.
  3. Try again during a different time of day when image sources may be less busy.

Images not showing in the preview popup

What you see: You hover over a blue-bordered card but the preview images do not appear or look broken.

How to fix it:

  1. Refresh the page and try again.
  2. Try a different web browser.
  3. If the problem continues, contact your site administrator or support.

The cropper window does not open

What you see: You click an image in the preview but nothing happens.

How to fix it:

  1. Your browser may be blocking popup windows. Look for a popup-blocked notification in your browser's address bar and allow popups for your admin site.
  2. Try a different browser if the issue persists.

A model card is stuck on "Processing"

What you see: One card stays yellow with "Processing" for a long time and never finishes.

How to fix it:

  1. Click Stop to end the batch.
  2. Refresh the page.
  3. Start a new batch. The stuck model will be included again since it still does not have an image.

Saved image not appearing on the public site

What you see: You saved an image but the model still shows no photo on the front end of your site.

How to fix it:

  1. Clear your browser cache and reload the page.
  2. Check the model's detail page in the admin panel to confirm the image was saved.
  3. If the image still does not appear, contact your site administrator.
