Blacklist Control
What This Page Does
The Blacklist Control Center is your main tool for keeping unwanted content off your site. You can block specific domains, email addresses, and IP addresses to prevent spam and malicious submissions. When you add something to the blacklist, any matching galleries are automatically flagged so you can review or remove them.

How to Get Here
Navigate to Admin Panel > Tools > Blacklist
Understanding the Page
When you open the Blacklist Control Center, you will see several sections stacked on the page. Here is what each area does.
Statistics Cards
At the top of the page, three colored cards give you a quick overview:

Add to Blacklist
Below the statistics cards, you will find a simple form where you can type in a domain, email address, or IP address to block it immediately.
Scan Results
This area appears after you run a scan. It shows you all galleries that match your blacklist rules, along with options to delete or pardon each one.
Blacklist Entries Table
A list of every individual item you have blocked. You can edit entries, remove them, or contact email addresses directly from this table.
Bulk Blacklist
At the bottom of the page, you will find a large text box where you can manage a comma-separated list of domains and keywords to block in bulk. This is useful when you have many items to block at once.
Common Tasks
How to Block a Specific Domain, Email, or IP Address
Use this when you want to quickly block a single item and flag any matching galleries on your site.
- Scroll to the Add to Blacklist section near the top of the page.
- Type the domain name, email address, or IP address into the text field.
- Click Add to Blacklist.
- Read the confirmation message that appears. It tells you how many galleries were affected.
spammer.com catches all pages on that domain, not just the homepage.

How to Block Many Items at Once
Use this when you have a long list of domains or keywords to block.
- Scroll down to the Bulk Blacklist (FreeHosts & Keywords) section.
- In the large text box, type or paste your list of items separated by commas. For example:
spammer1.com,spammer2.com,badkeyword,freehost.example.net - Click Update Bulk List to save your changes.
- Scroll back up and click Scan & Blacklist Gallery Database to apply the new rules to existing galleries.
- Review the scan results to see which galleries were flagged.
How to Scan Your Site for Blacklisted Content
Use this to check all existing galleries against your blacklist rules. This is especially useful after adding new entries, since galleries that were already on your site before you added the rule need to be scanned retroactively.
- Click the Scan & Blacklist Gallery Database button.
- Wait for the scan to complete. A results table appears showing all matching galleries.
- Review the results. For each gallery, you will see its web address, email, and IP information.
- Decide what to do with each match (see the next sections for deleting or pardoning).

Tips for New Users
- Start with specific entries rather than generic keywords. Blocking common words like "free" or "hot" may accidentally flag legitimate content.
- Run the Scan & Blacklist Gallery Database regularly, especially after adding new entries, to catch galleries that were already on your site.
- Copy the Export List before making major changes to your bulk list. This gives you a backup you can use to restore entries if needed.
- Blacklisting is safer than deleting. Blacklisted galleries can be pardoned later, but deleted galleries are gone permanently.
Troubleshooting
Galleries are not getting flagged after adding a blacklist entry
What you see: You added a domain or email to the blacklist, but existing galleries from that source are still visible on your site.
How to fix it:
- Go to Admin Panel > Tools > Blacklist.
- Click Scan & Blacklist Gallery Database. This checks all existing galleries against your blacklist.
- Review the results. Previously existing galleries are now flagged.
Changes to the bulk list are not saving
What you see: You update the bulk blacklist text box, but your changes disappear after reloading the page.
How to fix it:
- Make sure you click Update Bulk List after making changes.
- Check that your entries are properly separated by commas.
- If the problem persists, contact your hosting provider or site administrator, as there may be a file permission issue on the server.
All buttons are grayed out and nothing works
What you see: The page loads normally, but all buttons are disabled and you see a warning banner at the top.
How to fix it:
This means the page is in demo mode, which is a read-only mode used for demonstrations. Contact your site administrator to switch off demo mode.
Scan says "No blacklisted galleries found" even though you have entries
What you see: You run a scan but no galleries are flagged, even though you have items in your blacklist.
How to fix it:
- Check that your blacklist entries are at least 6 characters long. Shorter entries are skipped during scans.
- Verify that the entries match actual data in your galleries (domain names, email addresses, or IP addresses).
- Try using partial domain names instead of full web addresses for broader matching.
