AI Image Selector

What This Page Does

This page helps you find a profile image for a model or performer on your site. It searches through your existing content first (at no cost), and then searches the web if needed. Once you find an image you like, you can select it and crop it to fit perfectly as the model's profile picture.

How to Get Here

Navigate to Admin Panel > Models and click the Find Image or AI Image button next to any model in the list.

Understanding the Page

When you open this page, you will see the model's name at the top along with a few key areas.

License and Credits Panel

Near the top of the page, a status box shows whether your license is active and how many credits you have remaining. Searching your own content is always free. Searching external websites costs a small amount of credits per image found.

Status What It Means
Green box Your license is active and you have credits available
Yellow box There is a license warning -- you may need to contact support
Red box Your license check failed -- external searches will not work
Note: Searching images from your own videos and galleries is always free, regardless of your license or credit balance.

Search Strategy Panel

A purple information box shows you how the search will work. The system automatically detects what type of performer this is based on their name and adjusts which websites it searches first to get the best results.

  • Single-word names (like a cam model username) -- The system prioritizes webcam-focused websites first.
  • Multi-word names (like a traditional stage name) -- The system prioritizes performer database websites first.

Tip: You do not need to configure the search strategy. The system handles this automatically based on the model's name.

Image Grid

This is the main area where search results appear. Images are displayed in a grid of thumbnail cards. Each card shows:

  • A preview of the image
  • The image dimensions and file size (shown as an overlay)
  • A Select & Crop button

Common Tasks

How to Find and Select a Profile Image

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Models.
  2. Find the model who needs a profile image.
  3. Click the Find Image or AI Image button next to their name.
  4. Wait for the search to complete. This usually takes 10 to 60 seconds depending on how many sources are searched.
  5. Browse through the image results in the grid.
  6. Click on an image you like, or click its Select & Crop button.
  7. You will be taken to the image cropper where you can adjust the crop area.
  8. Save your cropped image. It will become the model's profile picture on your site.

Tip: Images found from your own videos and galleries appear first and are free. External results appear after and use a small number of credits.

How to Upload Your Own Image Instead

If the search does not find a suitable image, you can upload one from your computer.

  1. Click the Upload Custom Image button in the header or at the bottom of the page.
  2. Choose an image file from your computer.
  3. Proceed to the cropper to adjust the image.
  4. Save your cropped image.

How to Check Image Details

  1. Look at any image card in the grid.
  2. The overlay at the bottom of each image shows its dimensions (width by height) and file size.
  3. Larger, higher-resolution images generally produce better profile pictures.

How Search and Credits Work

The AI Image Selector uses a two-step search approach to save you money:

Step 1 -- Your Own Content (Free)
The system first looks through galleries and video thumbnails already on your site that are linked to this model. These results cost nothing.

Step 2 -- External Websites (Small Credit Cost)
If more images are needed, the system searches external websites. Each image found from an external source costs a fraction of a cent.

Note: The system stops searching once it finds enough images (about 20). This keeps your costs low by not searching unnecessary sources.

Cost Example

If the system finds 5 images from your own content and 20 images from external websites, only the 20 external images are billed. At the standard rate, this would cost less than one cent.

Settings and Options

This page does not have configurable settings. The search runs automatically when you open the page. The system intelligently decides which sources to search and in what order based on the model's name.

Tips for New Users

Tip:
  • Start by making sure your models have galleries and videos assigned to them. This gives the image finder free content to search through first.
  • If the search does not find good results, try editing the model's name to a more commonly known variation, then search again.
  • Higher resolution images (larger dimensions) will produce better-looking profile pictures after cropping.
  • If you already have a good image on your computer, use the Upload Custom Image button to skip the search entirely.
  • The search results are saved for one hour. If you leave and come back within that time, the same results will load instantly without using additional credits.

Troubleshooting

No images were found

What you see: The page finishes searching but shows no image results.

How to fix it:

  1. Check that the model's name is spelled correctly in the model record.
  2. Make sure the model has galleries or videos assigned to them for free local results.
  3. Try a different name variation if the model goes by multiple names.
  4. Use the Upload Custom Image button to manually upload a photo.

Images appear broken or do not load

What you see: Image cards show a blank space or an error icon instead of a picture.

How to fix it:

  1. Refresh the page and wait for images to load again.
  2. If the problem continues, the source website may be temporarily unavailable.
  3. Select a different image that is loading correctly, or upload your own.

"Insufficient credits" message

What you see: A message telling you that you do not have enough credits.

How to fix it:

  1. Check your credit balance in the panel at the top of the page.
  2. Add more credits through your license portal.
  3. Note that searching your own content (galleries and video thumbnails) is always free and will still work even without credits.

Selected image fails to save

What you see: You click an image but get an error message instead of being taken to the cropper.

How to fix it:

  1. The image may no longer be available from the source website. Try selecting a different image.
  2. If multiple images fail, try refreshing the page to get fresh results.
  3. If the problem persists, use the Upload Custom Image option instead.

Warning: If you repeatedly see errors when selecting images, contact your system administrator. There may be a server configuration issue that needs attention.

Low credits warning

What you see: A warning banner telling you your credit balance is low.

How to fix it:

  1. You can still use the page, but external searches may be limited.
  2. Add credits through your license portal to continue using external image searches.
  3. Images from your own content are always free regardless of credit balance.
