Token Credit Usage

What This Page Does

This page shows you how many credits you have left in your ComusThumbz account and how you've used them. Credits are like money in your account that get used up when AI features process images or enrich your content. You can see your balance, check your spending history, and purchase more credits when you're running low.

How to Get Here

Navigate to Admin Panel > Reports > Token Usage

Understanding the Page

When you open this page, you'll see several cards showing different information about your credit usage.

Account Overview Section

Shows basic information about your ComusThumbz account, including your email address, license type (like Pro or Enterprise), your registered domain, and when you first created your account.

Balance & Statistics Section

This is the most important section. It shows:

  • Current Balance -- How much credit you have left (shown in green if healthy, red if low)
  • Tokens Used -- How many AI tokens you've consumed
  • Credits Used -- Total amount spent on AI features
  • API Calls Made -- Number of times AI features were used
  • Images Processed -- How many images have been processed
  • Last Updated -- When this information was last refreshed
Tip: If your balance shows in red, you're running low on credits and should purchase more soon.

Current Pricing Section

Shows how much each AI feature costs, so you can understand where your credits are going. Prices are shown per 10,000 images or per 1 million tokens.

Estimated Usage Remaining

Based on your current balance, this shows approximately how many more images or tokens you can process before needing to add credits.

Transaction History

A detailed list of every time credits were added to or used from your account, showing the date, what type of transaction it was, and how much was involved.

  3. Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet program.

  2. You'll be taken to the ComusThumbz purchase page.

This page doesn't have search or filter options. All transactions are shown in order from newest to oldest, with 300 transactions per page.

Understanding Transaction Types

When you look at your transaction history, you'll see different colored badges showing the type of transaction:

Type Color What It Means
Usage Red Credits were spent on AI features
Purchase Green Credits were added to your account
Refund Blue Credits were returned to your account

Understanding the Pricing Table

The pricing table shows how much different AI features cost:

Service What It Costs When It's Used
Image Processing Price per 10,000 images When AI processes images for your content
Input Tokens Price per 1 million tokens When AI reads and analyzes text
Completion Tokens Price per 1 million tokens When AI generates or writes text
Cached Tokens Price per 1 million tokens When AI uses previously processed information (cheaper)
Note: Prices are automatically updated from the server. If you see a timestamp below the pricing table, that shows when the prices were last refreshed.

View Modes

This page only has one view mode. The transaction history is always shown as a table.

Troubleshooting

My balance isn't updating after I purchased credits

What you see: Your balance still shows the old amount even though you bought more credits.

How to fix it:

  1. Click the Refresh Data button at the top of the page.
  2. Wait for the success message to appear.
  3. If your balance still doesn't update, wait a few minutes (the purchase might still be processing) and click Refresh Data again.
  4. If the problem continues, contact ComusThumbz support with your purchase confirmation.

The page shows an error about being unable to load data

What you see: Instead of your account information, you see an error message saying "Unable to Load Account Data."

How to fix it:

  1. Click the Retry Loading Data button shown on the error screen.
  2. If that doesn't work, check your internet connection.
  3. Make sure your license is active and hasn't expired.
  4. Contact your system administrator to verify the license configuration in the settings file.

I see a warning about low balance but I still have credits

What you see: A red flashing banner appears even though your balance isn't zero.

How to fix it:
The warning appears when your balance drops below $1.00. This is intentional to give you advance notice. Add more credits when convenient to avoid running out completely.

The transaction history is empty

What you see: The table shows "No transaction history available."

How to fix it:

  1. This is normal if you just activated your license and haven't used any AI features yet.
  2. Try clicking Refresh Data to check for new transactions.
  3. Once you start using AI-powered features like image processing, transactions will appear here.

The download button doesn't work

What you see: When you click Download History, nothing happens or you see an error.

How to fix it:

  1. Check if there's a message saying "Download disabled in demo mode" -- if so, this is expected and you'll need to contact your administrator.
  2. If you see "No transaction history available to download," you don't have any transactions yet.
  3. For other errors, try clicking Refresh Data first, then try downloading again.

Pricing or balance seems outdated

What you see: The numbers don't seem current or match what you expect.

How to fix it:

  1. Look for the "Last Updated" timestamp to see when the data was retrieved.
  2. Click Refresh Data to get the latest information.
  3. If specific pricing seems wrong, click Update Pricing to refresh just the pricing information.
  4. The page caches data for up to 10 minutes to reduce server load, so slight delays are normal.

Page When to Use It
Financial Reports To see detailed revenue and earnings from your site's creators
Reports Overview To access other types of reports like content analytics and site statistics
AI Image Selector One of the features that uses credits -- for processing and selecting images
AI Model Data Update Another feature that uses credits -- for enriching performer information

Auto-Refresh Feature

Note: This page automatically refreshes itself every 10 minutes when left open. You'll see the page reload and update with the latest information. This is helpful if you want to monitor credit usage in real-time without manually clicking refresh.

What "Tokens" and "Credits" Mean

Credits are the currency in your ComusThumbz account. Think of them like dollars -- they're what you purchase and spend.

Tokens are a measurement of how much AI processing happened. Different AI tasks use different amounts of tokens, and each token costs a tiny fraction of a credit. You don't need to understand tokens in detail -- just know that more complex AI tasks use more tokens and therefore more credits.

Images Processed is a simple count of how many images the AI features have handled for you.

Understanding the Estimated Usage Section

The Estimated Usage Remaining card shows you approximately how much more you can do with your current balance:

  • Image Searches -- How many more images you can process
  • AI Input Tokens -- How much more text the AI can read
  • AI Completion Tokens -- How much more text the AI can write
  • AI Cached Tokens -- How much more cached processing you can do
Tip: These are estimates based on current pricing and your balance. Your actual usage may vary depending on which features you use.

Page Behavior Notes

  • The page loads quickly because it stores (caches) recently fetched data.
  • Pricing information is stored for 5 minutes before being refreshed.
  • Transaction history is stored for 1 hour before being refreshed.
  • You can force an immediate refresh using the Refresh Data button anytime.
  • If you see "Cached" in the footer, the data came from storage. If you see "Live," it was just fetched from the server.
