AI Video Review
What This Page Does
This page uses artificial intelligence to analyze a video and automatically suggest improvements to its title, description, categories, tags, performer names, and SEO information. Instead of writing all of this by hand, the AI reviews your video's images and details, then fills in suggested content that you can edit and approve. This saves time and helps your videos get discovered by visitors and search engines.

How to Get Here
- Go to Admin Panel > Database > Videos.
- Find the video you want to analyze.
- Click Edit to open the video details.
- Click the AI Review button in the toolbar.
Understanding the Page
When you start an AI review, the page goes through two stages: a progress screen while the AI works, and a review screen where you check and approve the results.
The Progress Screen
After you click AI Review, a progress screen appears while the AI analyzes your video. You will see:
- A progress bar that fills up as the analysis moves through each step
- A status message below the bar that tells you what the AI is currently doing (for example, "Fetching video metadata..." or "AI is analyzing video...")
- A Cancel button if you want to stop and go back to the video list
The analysis typically takes 30 to 90 seconds. When it finishes, the page automatically moves to the review screen.

The Review Screen
Once the AI finishes, you are taken to the review screen. This is where you see everything the AI suggested and decide what to keep, change, or remove.
The review screen has several sections:
Info Bar -- At the very top, a summary bar shows:
Video Details -- A quick-reference grid showing the video's duration, resolution, frame rate, file size, and other properties. This is for your reference only and cannot be edited here.
Preview Image -- If your video has a preview image available, it appears here. Click the image to view it full-size. Press Escape or click the X to close the enlarged view.

Common Tasks
How to Review AI Suggestions
The main area of the review screen is split into two columns:
- Left column (Current Data) -- Shows what the video currently has. This side is read-only for reference.
- Right column (AI Suggested Data) -- Shows what the AI recommends. These fields are fully editable.
Each suggestion has a small colored confidence badge next to it:
- Green -- The AI is highly confident in this suggestion
- Orange -- The AI is moderately confident; review this more carefully
- Red -- The AI is less certain; double-check this suggestion
- Compare each row between the current data and the AI suggestion.
- Edit any suggested field you want to change by clicking into it and typing.
- Move through all the sections to review everything before saving.
How to Edit the Title
- Look at the Title field in the right column.
- Click into the field and type your changes.
- Watch the character counter below the field. Shorter titles (60-70 characters) work best for search engines.
How to Edit the Description and Short Description
- Find the Description field in the right column. This is a larger text box.
- Click into it and edit the text as needed. Aim for 150 to 300 words for the full description.
- Below it, the Short Description is a brief summary (50 to 100 words). Edit this the same way.
How to Manage Categories
The AI suggests categories based on the video content. You can adjust these:
- To remove a category, click the X on its green badge.
- To add a category, select one from the dropdown menu and click the + button.
How to Manage Tags
Tags help visitors find your content through search and browsing.
- To remove a tag, click the X on its green badge.
- To add a new tag, type it into the text field below the tag badges and press Enter.
How to Manage Performers (Models)
The AI may identify or suggest performer names for the video.
- Suggested performers appear as green badges. To remove one, click the X on its badge.
- To add a performer, type their name in the search field. Matching names from your database will appear as you type.
- If the performer is not in your database, a Create new option appears. Click it to add them.
How to Edit SEO Information
Scroll down to the SEO Metadata section. This controls how your video appears in search engine results and when shared on social media.
- Click into any field to edit it.
- For Meta Title and Meta Description, watch the character counter. It turns red if you exceed the recommended length.

How to Edit Social Media Posts
Below the SEO section, you will find ready-to-use posts for three platforms:
- Facebook Post -- A longer-format description you can copy and paste to Facebook.
- Twitter Post -- A short post limited to 280 characters, including hashtags.
- Instagram Caption -- A caption with hashtags for Instagram.
Edit any of these to match your preferred tone and style before saving.
How to Review Visual Analysis Results
If the AI analyzed an image from your video, a Visual Analysis section appears at the bottom of the page. This section shows what the AI detected, including:
- Detected Performers -- Names of people the AI identified, with confidence levels
- Scene Description -- A written description of what appears in the video
- Setting/Location -- Where the scene takes place
- Quality Assessment -- The AI's rating of production and lighting quality
- Visual Themes -- General themes detected in the content
- Color Palette -- The dominant colors and visual mood
- Detected Text -- Any visible watermarks, logos, or on-screen text

How to Save Your Changes
Once you have reviewed and edited all the suggestions:
- Click Approve & Save to save your changes and return to the video list.
- Or click Approve & Next to save your changes and immediately move to the next video for AI review.
- Click Cancel to discard all changes and go back without saving.
Credits and Costs
Each AI analysis uses a small amount of credits from your ComusThumbz license.
- You need at least $0.50 in credits to run an analysis.
- If your balance is below $5.00, a yellow warning will appear on the review page with a link to purchase more credits.
- The exact cost of each analysis appears in the info bar at the top of the review page.
Tips for New Users
- Start with your most popular or newest videos to get the biggest impact from AI suggestions.
- Always review the AI suggestions before saving. The AI does a good job, but it is not perfect.
- Pay attention to the confidence scores. High-confidence suggestions usually need little or no editing, while low-confidence suggestions should be reviewed more carefully.
- Use the SEO fields to improve how your site appears in Google and other search engines.
- The social media posts are a great starting point for promoting your content. Copy and paste them to your social accounts after saving.
Troubleshooting
The progress bar seems stuck
What you see: The progress bar stops moving or the status message does not change.
How to fix it:
- Wait at least 90 seconds. Some analyses take longer than others, especially for the first time.
- If nothing changes after 90 seconds, click Cancel and try again.
- If the problem continues, check that your internet connection is working and try once more.
"Insufficient credits" error
What you see: An error message saying your credit balance is too low.
How to fix it:
- Visit the ComusThumbz website to purchase additional credits. A link is provided in the error message.
- You need at least $0.50 in credits to run an AI review.
"Video not found" error
What you see: An error saying the video could not be found.
How to fix it:
- Go back to Admin Panel > Database > Videos and confirm the video is still in the list.
- Click Edit on the video and try AI Review again.
"No image available for visual analysis" message
What you see: A notice that the AI could not find an image to analyze visually.
How to fix it:
- This means your video has not finished processing yet, or no preview images were generated.
- Check that the video has finished processing by looking at its status in the video list.
- The AI will still analyze the video using its text information, so you can continue with the review. The visual analysis section simply will not appear.
The review page says "No AI video data"
What you see: The review page loads but says there is no data to review.
How to fix it:
- This happens if the page session timed out or if you opened the review page directly.
- Go back to the video's Edit page and click AI Review to start a fresh analysis.
AI suggestions do not seem accurate
What you see: The AI filled in information that does not match the video.
How to fix it:
- Check the overall confidence score at the top of the review page. Lower scores mean the AI was less certain.
- Edit any incorrect fields before saving. You have full control over every suggestion.
- If a video has very little existing information (no title, no description), the AI has less to work with and may be less accurate.
